Today is National Intern Day 2022, and earlier this week MTI Motion had the pleasure of hosting more than 70 interns and staff from all of the Steel Partners operating companies nationwide at our corporate headquarters. Day 1 of the event kicked off with Steel Partners Group Executive, SVP Gordon Walker sharing a few words with the interns, followed by a motivational speech by legendary baseball manager and Steel Sports advisor Bobby Valentine.
The interns were treated to a luncheon and taken on a tour of MTI Motion’s Pleasant Prairie production facility before heading to see the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Minnesota Twins, 7-6.

Day 2 was hosted by Lucas-Milhaupt, Inc., a global provider and leading producer of metal-joining products and services for thousands of companies worldwide. The interns were treated to professional headshots, took a tour of their facility and watched a brazing tutorial.
