SPIRADRIVE® is a precision gear system, operating as a right-angled/offset drive, consisting of a pinion and a gear, which can achieve a significantly higher torque capacity for a given package space than competing right-angled gear systems. This is achieved by having a larger contact ratio/number of teeth sharing the torque loading.
