The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for regulatory and quality assurance work as well as be open to helping fellow coworkers in the Quality department as needed. The Quality Assurance Technician assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good, automated manufacturing practice (GAMP) systems, validating processes and providing documentation.


  • Coordinate and maintain the internal Preventive/Corrective Action system, tracking actions taken and performing follow-up effectiveness audits.
  • Maintain approved supplier records, administer and track supplier corrective action requests and responses.
  • Assist with QA records, such as inspection stamps, internal auditing files, inspection records, customer control plans, etc.
  • Maintain inspection procedure documentation.
  • Perform receiving inspection back-up and support as required.
  • Perform shipping inspection back-up and support as required.


  • Two-year technical diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Computer experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, documentation, Engineering Specifications and GD&T.
  • Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, plug and ring gages.
  • Previous experience as line inspector preferred.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment.
